LOS ANGELES50 Cent is a busy man — he just released a new album, Before I Self Destruct, and film of the same name, and he’s working on several other movies in various stages of development. He’s also an unpredictable man — as evidenced by his double-take-inducing appearance at last week’s “New Moon” premiere. So, it makes sense that the rapper/actor/mogul would show up at the American Music Awards with Val Kilmer as his “date,” eager to tell everyone that he’s even busier and more unpredictable than they think.

With the release of “New Moon” just a few days away, “Twilight” mania seems to be taking over Hollywood. But at least one starlet wants nothing to do with the vampire craze. In a backstage interview at a show in Cleveland, Miley Cyrus told radio station Q92 that she’s neither Team Edward nor Team Jacob — in fact, she’s not even on team “Twilight.” The singer said that not only has she never watched the vampire flick, but she doesn’t plan to.

In death, as he was in life, Michael Jackson is still proving to be the King of Pop. In the same week that the documentary “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” was the #1 movie in the land, the accompanying soundtrack will take the honors on the Billboard 200 albums chart. According to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan, the “This Is It” soundtrack will assume the top spot with sales of 373,000, easily besting the week’s other big debut, a #2 bow by reunited rockers Creed, whose Full Circle moved 110,000 units.
