Eclipse Trailer Premiering This Weekend?

The rumor mill is buzzing that the much-anticipated Eclipse trailer is going to be featured during the previews of Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, which opens this weekend.
Is this true? And why haven’t we been hearing that much about the third Twilight flick that’s out this June? If you remember, New Moon madness started six or so months prior to release.
Read on for the latest deets:

“There’s no truth to the trailer running in front of Percy Jackson,” Deep Twi dishes.
Bummer!
So what the heck are we waiting for?
Remember Me, The Runaways and Letters to Juliet are the studio’s first priorities right now,” adds our mole.
But don’t necessarily attribute the lack of Eclipse promos to mean the third film is too violent and flat-out sucky.
Since Summit is pumping our beloved vamp flicks out as fast as possible, it’s only adding to their movie-filled plate.
We hear Eclipse is much different than Twilight or New Moon, but change is never bad. Let’s give David Slade the benefit of the doubt and at least see the trailer until we try to judge Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and the rest of the crew.
And remember, just because the Twilight movies may be the end-all, be-all for many in the cult following, it’s not for everyone.
Hey, we’re glad to hear the studio’s giving just as much attention to the rest of its movies. Frankly, we’re excited to see Remember Me, The Runaways and Letters to Juliet!
We’ll be sure to keep you updated, though, on when you will get to peep the real trailer.
