Anna Kendrick won’t be bringing any beau to the Oscars next Sunday. The Up in the Air star is planning to make the star-studded event a family affair.
The 24-year-old former actress, who pulled double duty in the Twilight Saga, told E! News she’s bringing her mom and brother as dates to the glitzy awards show.
“I’m flying them out. I’m so excited,” Kendrick said Saturday at Zac Posen’s celebration for his new Z Spoke collection in Beverly Hills. “My mom wants to meet George Clooney.”

While the steamy sex scenes in “Remember Me” (March 12) might seem like a big shock to Robert Pattinson fans used to the chaste kisses seen in the “Twilight Saga,” the 23-year-old Brit said that they are nothing compared to the sex scenes he filmed for the drama “Bel Ami,” due out in 2011.

Kellan Lutz, best known as Emmett Cullen from the “Twilight” saga, urges his Twilighter fans to adopt a homeless dog and cat in a new ad from PETA
“I love mutts!” gushed Lutz in an exclusive interview with PETA. “If anything, I think mutts stay the healthiest.” Lutz also addressed the animal-overpopulation crisis. “There are surprisingly so many animals, so many animals in these animal shelters,” he said. “It’s sad, and knowing that they get euthanized … and there’s a lot you can do … spay or neuter your pets so that doesn’t happen.”

Despite the many rumors circulating about “Breaking Dawn,” the final installment in the Twilight saga, it seems as though no progress has been made on the movie’s production in the three months since “New Moon” was released.
