‘New Moon’ Breaks Box Office Records

“New Moon” has already broken records.
The vampire flick earned $26.3 million just from midnight screenings, Summit Entertainment estimated Friday.
Check out pics from the Thursday night’s NYC “New Moon” premiere
It overtook “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” which earned $22.2 million at late-night screenings earlier this year. “The Dark Knight” raked in $18.5 million in 2008.
